Sugarcane is a tropical grass from which we get sugar. Natural sugarcane and its direct derivatives have been used in the treatment of illnesses such as: hemorrhage and inflammation. Sugar cane has quite a few vitamins and minerals including iron, magnesium, thiamine and riboflavin.  It has diuretic properties and can help to remove excess salt and water.
